Things to Consider Prior to Surgery:

• It is highly recomended that all cats are tested for Feline Leukimia and Feline AIDS due to the risk of contagion to other animals. Recent test results can be provded to the us or the test can be done in our office during the pre-surgical exam or on the day of surgery for an additional cost.

• Heartworm testing is highly recommended for dogs, recent test results can be provided to us or the testing can be done in our office for an aditional charge.

• Additional charges will apply for non-routine surgeries such as (but not limited to) advanced age, pregnancy, obesity, or undecended testicals.

• Pain medication and an e-collar are highly recommended following surgery and can be provided to you for an additional charge.

• Pets 5 years old and older may require bloodwork prior to surgery, due to the pet's advanced age, to assess the overall health of the pet prior to surgery. Any bloodwork that the doctor may require would be an additional charge.

• All pets are required by the county to have a current rabies vaccine. Proof of vaccination can be provided to us or the vaccine can be given in our office for an addiltional charge.
